Be apart of a ride with a cause!

Volunteers are extremely important to the success of our single fundraiser each year and we cherish your time, energy and dedication that you bring to the festival!

Aid Stations

Ideally two people would "man" these aid stations together. M2D provides all the necessities for the aid station the week before the ride and shows you where to set up, etc. You are responsible for your own transportation to various locations and transport of all the supplies (popup tent, table, food, water, etc.). Last year, everything was able to fit into a sedan with two people in the front seats. Your day is basically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and this includes driving time.

Motorcycle Escort

If you have a moto that is not a dirt bike, please contact if interested in helping with our motorcycle escort. This job entails riding between groups of riders to make sure there are no safety concerns. We have a safety briefing the week prior to the ride to make sure everyone is on the same page. This day is around 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. We reimburse for gas and provide lodging in Naturita or Norwood if that is of interest.

Gateway Volunteer

These positions include volunteers in Gateway at the Gateway Community Center. We have various positions available that include: food prep and food plating, setting up tables, manning the silent auction, traffic control outside, cleanup. These positions are from roughly 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. You need to provide your own transportation to Gateway.

Sag Wagon Driver

These people basically follow the last rider and picks up anyone who decides not to ride anymore, needs help, etc. We stock the van with snacks, bike tubes, etc.  Essentially, people follow the pack of riders to Gateway, up the hill climb and back to the community center. This day is from about 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM and requires driving a  company van.
